Terms of Service
Last updated June 17, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Convova (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. The service
Convova is an event-management platform that helps organizers run events — including programs and schedules, passes and tickets, check-in, announcements, and attendee networking — and helps guests participate in those events. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Access to the Service is generally provided by invitation from an event organizer or from Convova. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, and you agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Your email address is your login and must belong to you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law;
- infringe the rights of others or upload content you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
- scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service except through features we provide for that purpose.
5. Organizer responsibilities
If you use the Service as an organizer — for example, to invite attendees, import attendee data, issue tickets, or publish event content — you are responsible for having all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to do so, and for complying with all laws that apply to you and your attendees, including data-protection and privacy laws. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you publish.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service. You grant Convova a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and to the people you share it with. You are solely responsible for your content and its legality.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Convova and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on and may integrate with third-party services, such as email delivery and ticketing imports. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convova will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by updating the date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
