Hold a ticket

Claim it, send it, accept one sent to you.

  1. A ticket is one admission held by one person. It starts unclaimed, except a walk-in, which the desk issues already claimed.
  2. The holder claims it on the Tickets page, or sends it to an email. Claim asks once and is final.
  3. The recipient of a send gets an email, signs in with that address, and accepts under Tickets, "Sent to you". Accepting claims it, add-ons included, and the sender is told.
  4. Until it is accepted the sender can cancel, and a send ends by itself after seven days. One send per ticket at a time, and no claim while a send is pending.
  5. A claimed ticket unlocks the pass, announcements, questions, and networking.

Rules: a claimed ticket cannot be sent or unclaimed; a new owner means the host revokes it and issues another. A revoked ticket admits nobody and takes its add-ons and any send with it; the host can restore it. Only the address the ticket went to can accept.
