Money after the event

The store share, refunds, growth charges, the plan.

  1. Convova's share of each store sale is deducted by Stripe before the money reaches the host. Tickets sold elsewhere and free tickets pay nothing.
  2. The host refunds an order in Stripe. A full refund revokes the order's tickets and add-ons; a partial refund changes nothing about them. The buyer sees the order as refunded in the app.
  3. If a growth charge fails, Stripe retries and issuing continues. If Stripe gives up, invites and walk-ins pause until the host updates the card on the Payments page, which pays the block again.
  4. The yearly plan renews until cancelled. Cancelling keeps it to the end of the paid year; then published events stay as they are, and the next publish pays again.
